Lotus Lantern 2025
With Buddha’s Birthday approaching, we will again hang Lotus Lanterns, mindfully made by sunims and volunteers, in the Dharma Hall of Su Bong Zen Monastery. Also, there will be outdoor Lotus Lanterns at Gak Su Temple. In this special festival, you may send blessings to yourself as well as friends and family by sponsoring the Lotus Lanterns. Let’s light up our mind and wake up to the compassion and wisdom that we intrinsically possess.
Funds donated for the Lotus Lanterns, after deducting necessary expenses, will be used for supporting the daily operations of Su Bong Zen Monastery. Details are as follows:

Funds donated over HK$100 are tax deductible.
For Lotus Lanterns in the Dharma Hall, the names for dedication will be hung under the lanterns. For outdoor lanterns, the names will be placed on the altar of Gak Su Temple. The Lotus Lanterns will be hung for 3 months, and we will chant Great Dharani each afternoon (except Mondays) at Zen Center and Gak Su Temple to dedicate merits until the completion day on 10 August. .
