Buddhism encompasses various schools such as Hinayana, Mahayana, and Zen. In the Compass of Zen, Zen Master Seung Sahn expounds the "bone"of the Buddha's teachings, succinctly elucidating the essence of different teachings and pointing out the correct direction for Buddhist practice, much like a compass. This year, in the Further Study on Zen Meditation course, Zen Master Dae Kwan will lecture on the Compass of Zen, helping students gain a comprehensive understanding of Buddhist principles and establish a solid foundation for their practice. The course consists of ten lectures and will be streamed live on Zoom. This is a rare opportunity, and students are encouraged to participate actively!
