The annual three-day Hwa Om Song Jung fundraising event at Su Bong Zen Monastery completed on October 1st.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all participants for their support! The event was held in the city this year, so more people could join and they attained a deeper experience. Through continuous chanting and the practice of "ABCD&E", we learned when think arises, not follow, to stay at the moment, and to keep a distance from our illusive thinking and vexation.
The theme this year-"The brightness of Hwa Om chanting shines and cuts through ignorance, moment to moment our original mind is clear and bright by nature!" - this is exactly our together practicing direction. Everyone's participation not only transformed their own mind but also integrated a pure mind into the society and their family.
Zen Center needs everyone's active participation and continued support for spreading the Dharma. Let's join hands together and create a more harmonious society!
