Su Bong Zen Monastery participated in the 1000-People Meditation event on 29 March 2015. We shared with participants the Soen Yu exercise and basics of sitting meditation.

Zen Master Seung Sahn

My "job" in the work period during the 10-day winter kyol che at Gaksu was cleaning the washroom. On the fourth day, I supposed to leave the temple for a day and attend my friend's wedding. However, I decided to continue the kyol che finally.

On 26 November, we invited Zen Master Dae Bong and Mu Sang Sunim to give a Dharma talk on " Clarity in the Midst of Conflict".

Zen Master Seung Sahn opened his first zen center in Providence, Rhode Island. The area was fairly violent with drunken brawls and knife fights. The atmosphere was unhappy. At that time Zen Master Seung Sahn was totally independent and self-financed. He started everything from zero. There was no furniture except for a small kitchen table and a few wooden chairs.

2014 年世界一花之旅，是第十屆了!這次是回到韓國，有來自十六多個國家國際觀音 禪的同修們，一起踏上這共修的旅程。
