2-4/10 Hwa Om Song Jung Three-Day Chanting Fundraising Event



Chant “Hwa Om” with a clear mind grounded in inner ease
Then peace of mind will follow, radiating to our families and the world

This year, the three-day Hwa Om Song Jung Chanting Fundraising Event will be held at the Zen Center at Causeway Bay. Your generous support would be very much appreciated. All donations will be used to support the daily operations of Su Bong Zen Monastery, so that we can continue to promote Zen practice and share Zen teachings through in-person and online activities, helping people to attain correct life.

At present, wars and natural disasters are frequent around the world, and economic and livelihood issues are facing many challenges, which inevitably leaves people feeling anxious and unsettled. We encourage everyone to join the Hwa Om Song Jung practice. Through the continuous chanting of Hwa Om Song Jung in one mind, may we moment to moment attain our clear original nature and transform suffering to correct life. When we chant with a clear mind grounded in inner ease, then peace of mind will follow, radiating to our families and the world. May the merit of this practice bless Hong Kong with social stability and prosperity, and the world be free from war and natural disasters.

Bodhi Mind, Bodhi Vow          
The Buddha sat under the Bodhi tree and became enlightened. This year we have prepared the Bodhi leaves again to awaken the Bodhi mind in all beings, for wisdom to grow, and for all to attain their true nature and enlightenment.          
You may support the Zen Center's running by sponsoring a Bodhi Leaf (Large: $1,200; Medium: $500; Small: $300). Please send in your wishes and dedications via 6220 6993 WhatsApp which will be written on the leaves by our sunims. All the leaves will be hung on a Bodhi tree tailored for this Hwa Om Song Jung chanting event at Hae Su Zen Center until the completion day of the 2025/26 winter retreat. If donors would like to write the wishes and dedications on the leaves by themselves, please visit Zen Center directly.
