You are warmly invited to the 2026/27 Winter Kyol Che at Hae Su Zen Center in Luk Wu, Lantau Island. There, we can practice together surrounded by beautiful natural habitats, fragrant scent of flowers and dulcet birdsongs. You can rest your body and mind, put down your burdens, and become at ease.
This year, we will offer special themes for the final two weeks of the retreat. We encourage you to seize the opportunity and join us.

Notes:
• Registration is required. Spaces are limited.
• Minimum stay is one week (7 days), with arrival and departure on Saturdays.
• Applicants must have completed the Introduction to Zen Meditation Course at Su Bong Zen Monastery, or have been practising at Su Bong Zen Monastery / Kwan Um School of Zen for some time. Priority is given to Su Bong Zen Monastery members.
Supporting the Practice:
The remote location and humid climate of Luk Wu make daily operating costs substantial. We welcome your generous support for food, utilities, and maintenance for both daily operations and retreats. We also especially welcome offerings to assist fellow practitioners with financial needs, so they may join the retreat. Your contribution directly supports the practice of the monastics and all participants .
